Innovation in Action: State Pathways for Advancing Student-Centered Learning

Innovation In Action

CCSSO's Innovation Lab Network (ILN) published  Innovation in Action: State Pathways for Advancing Student-Centered Learning for states to use this successful framework, known as the ILN Policy & Implementation Logic Model, as a guide to advance future innovations.

The ILN Logic Model framework focuses on five major areas to create deeper learning centered on students: 1) college- and career-readiness, 2) personalized learning and workforce preparation, 3) a balanced system of assessment, 4) an aligned accountability system, and 5) seamless pathways for all students to achieve college- and career-readiness.

States can download the new Innovation in Action publication to learn more about the framework and how it has been applied in ILN states. The publication includes specific examples from New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Oregon and Iowa.
