Many state education agencies, state leaders, and stakeholders have spent the past 18 months engaging their communities, identifying and implementing promising research and practice, and determining what sound state-level policy can support effective high schools. The results of many of these efforts have culminated in statewide reports and recommendations for change. This matrix provides a snapshot of recent state high school improvement reports and recommendations, along with the general themes each report covers.
