Collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution This collaboration has opened the door to enormous possibilities for assessment/curriculum development. Using the vast Smithsonian resources, the Comprehensive Social Studies Assessment Project (CSSAP) has created the newest on-line social studies units with resources that include collaboration with the staff at the Smithsonian Institution.
