Planning Meetings

These meetings were designed to identify and build partnerships in an effort to improve Native American student performance. Planning meetings were used to obtain input from interested stakeholders regarding pertinent topic areas to be discussed at the national meeting.

At this meeting several stakeholders, including chief state school officers, academicians, and Native community leaders discussed a range of No Child Left Behind implementation challenges. Of equal importance was the range of best practice solutions presented by various practitioners and Native American presenters.
