Hello MSP study sites and Staff:
Several items this week:
Take a look at MSPnet.org for a comprehensive resource on MSP projects, cross-references to different projects, and contact information.
The SW Penn. MSP is working with CCSSO to use the Surveys of Enacted Curriculum in its Project Evaluation design which is led by RAND.
Many of our RETA project staff will be at the AERA confernce on San Diego, and one paper session will include a presentation by Kwang S. Yoon on Tuesday 4/13 will focus on this Study and preliminary results (check it out if you are there); we will put a copy of the paper on the Listserve and our website: www.ccsso.org/MSPpdstudy
There is also a session on Alignment and Use of the Surveys of Enacted Curriculum with 4 participants from our Study (Andy Porter, John Smithson, Eric Osthoff, and myself). This session is on Wed. 4/14
I will be in Atlanta on M-T (3/29-30) doing a demonstration of Alignment analysis using the SEC model with the State Science Supervisors.
