Two Items:
1. Alignment content coding results
In July 03, we conducted Alignment Content Coding for state math and science standards and assessments in middle grades for the 5 MSP sites. The result is content alignment maps that will be used in the MSP Prof. Deve. Study analysis.
We are sending a copy of your state's content maps on a CD to each evaluator contact:
Cleveland -- P. Poncelet (sent previously)
S. Texas -- I. Marshall
El Paso -- J. Bogart
N. Jersey -- M. Beebe (sent previously)
Brockport -- L. Reid
In addition, if you would like a copy, please contact Alissa Minor at WCER aminor@wisc.edu.
We are also sending a copy of the CD to each state assessment director for the 5 states.
2. MSP Conference in Washignton, DC Jan. 29-31
Kwang S. Yoon will be leading a session at the MSP conference on this project, next Friday am 1/30. Unfortunately, I have a scheduling conflict and will not be returning to DC until late Friday. I am sorry if I miss seeing some of you that will be attending. I will be at the conference on 1/31. Please plan to attend the Friday am session. We can use your input!.
