The joint meeting of the Extended Learning Opportunities and Early Childhood Education task forces convened on February 26, 2007 at the Council’s offices in Washington, D.C. Presentations and discussions at the meeting highlighted research, policy, and practice in the areas of extended learning opportunities and early childhood education, as well as considering the connections between the two.
