The Deputies Leadership Commission is an action arm of the Council, composed of one high ranking leader in each state education agency. One representative to the Deputies Leadership Commission (DLC) is appointed by each chief state school officer. The DLC is an integral component of the Council's services to its members by providing opportunities for ongoing professional development.
