CTQ State Teams

CCSSO has been working with teams from 42 states that represent the key leverage points for change in their teacher licensing system as it relates to BOTH general and special education teachers of students with disabilities. The teams consist of, at a minimum, state director of teacher licensing/program approval state director of special education dean from a school of education that has perspective across both general and special education The center support seach team's efforts through a number of activities including covering the cost to send the three-member team to one national invitational forum per year. At these forums, state teams draft and update state-specific action plans for reform, share ideas and strategies, and hear from speakers and experts on topics of interest to states.
