Speaker Requests

All scheduling and logistical arrangements for the National Teacher are coordinated by the National Program. Organizations or individuals that request the services of the National Teacher bear all expenses associated with that request. Honoraria for the National Teacher are not requested but accepted if offered.  Requests should be made by letter and include the following information: Date of event; name, title, organization, phone and fax numbers, address of person making request; location of appearance; type of presentation; time and length of presentation; who and how many will be in the audience; and a statement that your organization will pay the National Teacher's travel, hotel and per diem expenses.  Send your request to Jon Quam, Director By e-mail: jonq@ccsso.org By mail: National Teacher of the Year Program, One Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20001-1431 By fax: 202-789-0596 Requests for the National Teacher are filled to provide the broadest representation for the teacher both thematically and geographically.
