Benefits of INTASC Membership

  • Two trips per year to Washington D.C., travel and expenses covered by INTASC, to attend INTASC General Membership meetings
  • Professional development for state education agency personnel
  • Opportunities to collaborate with other states to develop policy, programs, and tools such as assessment instruments to improve the professional development of teachers
  • Access to national information and renowned speakers
  • Access to assessment instruments, standards documents, and issue papers commissioned by INTASC
  • Opportunity to dialog with other states via the INTASC listserv

How to Join INTASC

States interested in joining INTASC will be asked to pay dues of $5,000/year. These funds will be used to cover the travel and hotel costs for one state representative to attend two INTASC meetings per year in Washington, DC. Please contact David Paradise (202) 336-7068 or davidp@ccsso.org if your state would like to join. We will need a billing address and the name and contact information for your state representative.
