CCSSO letter on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) is urging Congressional leaders to pass bipartisan legislation to protect participants in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“State chiefs are working to provide an equitable education to all students in their schools, and CCSSO urges Congress to pass bipartisan legislation to protect participants in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to create a safe and supportive school environment for every student,” said Carissa Miller, interim executive director of CCSSO.
