People, Groups, and Projects

  • State Support Team Network
    CCSSO's State Support Team Network (SSTN) assists states in their efforts to equip state staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality support to low-performing schools and districts.
  • Extended Learning and Development Opportunities
    CCSSO actively supports states efforts toward extended learning opportunities, particularly in low-performing, high-poverty schools, by providing critical information in this area.
  • Community-Based Organization (CBO) High Schools Project
    With grant funding from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and in partnership with the Academy for Educational Development, CCSSO assists states in examining their statewide, district- and school-level policies related to alternative and CBO high schools.
  • Immigrant Students and Secondary Schools Reform Project
    With funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, CCSSO assists states in improving educational services for English language learners (ELLs) enrolled in high schools undergoing reform.
  • High-Poverty Schools Initiative
    This CCSSO initiative focuses on building the capacity of state education agency officials and their local partners to implement various federal education programs aimed at improving outcomes for students in high-poverty schools.
  • National Clearinghouse on Comprehensive School Reform (NCCSR)
    Supported by the U.S. Department of Education, NCCSR maintains an extensive web site with a literature library, tools for planning and implementing school reform programs, a school reform models catalog, publications, and other materials.
  • Eisenhower Regional Mathematics and Science Education Consortia
    Supported by the U.S. Department of Education, the Eisenhower Regional Mathematics and Science Education Consortia program consists of ten regional service providers to help improve mathematics and science education throughout the Nation.
