    The School Health Project was founded in 1987 to build the capacity of chief state school officers and their staffs and partners to create strong school health policies and programs that support the goal of removing the nonacademic barriers to learning faced by the nation’s children.

  • No Time for Turf
    No Time for Turf evolved from a meeting of chief state school officers and state health officials in 1999. Participants agreed that interagency collaboration is essential for promoting positive academic and health outcomes for students. This tool is designed to support the implementation and sustainability of interagency collaborative efforts at the state and local levels. Conveniently packaged on a single CD-ROM, the kit contains five sections.
