Council Partnerships

Building the capacity of state education leaders to address the challenges of the 21st century will not be an easy task—yet it is one of the most important responsibilities of the Council's vision and mission to serve its members. The Council understands that building the capacity of states and their leaders will require creative problem solving of complex issues, technical assistance in areas not previously addressed, and resources that may not be readily available. We also know that we can’t do it alone.  In order to address the needs of states and their leaders, the solutions must come from a variety of sources.  By partnering with appropriate organizations (another of the Council’s primary aims), CCSSO is able to further enhance its own service levels and bring state leaders the most current research, up-to-date thinking, and innovative solutions available to the complex challenges they face.
