This CCSSO report informs policymakers and educators about the current status of key education policies across the 50 states that define and shape elementary and secondary education in public schools. The report is part of a continuing biennial series by the Council’s state Education Indicators program and includes 50-state information on policies related to school time and attendance, high school graduation requirements, state content standards, teacher preparation, and student assessment programs.
