Technology Enhanced Assessment (TEA)

The Technology Enhanced Assessment (TEA) SCASS brings states together to systematically share successful applications of new and innovative technology. Very few products have been developed to wisely harness the flexibility and power of modern technology. Infrastructure, cost, and user training are the three commonly cited obstacles to mainstream adoption. Still, a variety of large-scale, technology-enhanced assessments are in place and thriving.

The TEA SCASS is currently focused on:

  • Creating a model of an effective technology enhanced assessment systems. The model reflects a balanced formative and summative assessment system facilitated by new technologies that allow continuous, real-time assessment of students
