State Consortium on Educator Effectiveness (SCEE)
CCSSO is pursuing a systemic strategy for transforming education. To provide focus within that strategy, SCEE will address a limited number of priority actions that will help states increase the effectiveness of teaching and leading to improve student achievement and eliminate disparities. Priority strands for Consortium work include:
- Standards for Learning, Teaching, and Leading
- Teacher and Leader Professional Growth and Support
- Evaluating Teaching and Leading
In support of this effort 28 states and the District of Columbia have signed on to participate in SCEE: AR, AZ, CA, CT, DE, GA, HI, IA, IL, KY, MD, ME, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, UT, WA, WI, WV.
Members are encouraged to sign in to the SCEE collaboration site to stay current on events, discussions and documents related to member progress. The public may also visit the SCEE site to view and download documents.
