IDEA Partnership
CCSSO works in partnership with the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) to support the goals of the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) Partnership. The IDEA Partnership is a network of more than 50 national organizations working together with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) to transform the way organizations collaborate to improve outcomes for young people with disabilities. CCSSO connects the IDEA Partnership’s efforts to other areas of K-12 system transformation and helps establish relationships between chief state school officers, deputies, and state special education directors to promote cross-stakeholder collaboration.
