International Education Program
The Council’s international program provides an opportunity for members to investigate high performing education systems in other countries. CCSSO partners with other organizations to support members exploring emerging international methods, practice, and policy and share this information with other states. The council’s international program focuses on:
- International best practices applicable to the state education systems
- Supporting states in preparing American children to be globally competent
- Providing information about international programs successfully implemented by states
Since 1984 CCSSO has supported state education agencies in researching promising international programs and integrating those programs into state education systems.
