Deep Dive in 45 Webinars
Last month's EIMAC meeting was so energizing, and we are determined to keep the momentum going! We're pleased to announce our Deep Dive in 45 Webinar series being this month! So, grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee and join us on select Tuesdays at 12pm ET/9am PT for topical webinars lasting no longer than 45 minutes on issues you are wrestling with. We'll begin this series on Tuesday, November 15th with a deep dive into ESSA data subgroups and continue throughout the program year touching on issues around CEDS, privacy, security, transparency, governance, visualization, N size, single-sign on and so on! If you have topics you'd like to learn more about or successes you'd like to share please reach out to Kimberly at Kimberly.Gondwe@ccsso.org and be on the lookout for a calendar invite with more information.
Open Educational Resources 101
We're happy to unveil our Open Educational Resource 101 webpage. The page provides a brief introduction to OER and will connect you to resources to help you learn about effective implementation of OER in educational settings. Please find a link to the page here.
Performance Assessment Resource Bank
CCSSO's Innovation Lab Network (ILN) is proud to announce the public launch of the Performance Assessment Resource Bank (PARB) - a free online resource for K-12 teachers, administrators, and policy makers. This resource was a joint collaboration between the ILN and our partners at Understanding Learning/Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity and the Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education. This new website is designed to serve as a platform for sharing high-quality performance assessments and resources curated from educators and organizations nationwide and for building community among the educators and leaders who use, develop, and share these important tools.
If you have anything you would like to contribute to next month's EDIS Update, or you just want to brag about your state's success, we would love to hear from you! Please email Ryan MacDonald at Ryan.MacDonald@ccsso.orgwith any exciting news or noteworthy items you would like to share.
