State Collaboration Grows the Value of the Ed-Fi Community

On December 18th, the Ed-Fi Alliance released Ed-Fi Dashboards 1.3. Ed-Fi Dashboards provides educators with real-time, actionable student data.  This latest version includes a Dynamic Watch list feature from Arkansas, a Standards Mastery View feature from Delaware, and a Plug-in Architecture feature from Pennsylvania. The collaborative nature of the Ed-Fi Alliance allows states to share solutions and cost savings. Ed-Fi Dashboards utilize the CEDS-aligned Ed-Fi Data Standard and are open for use by all Ed-Fi community members.

Cody Decker, Assistant Commissioner and CIO Arkansas, said, "We are happy to be part of the leadership that is helping to drive collaboration amongst states. The action this group has been able to undertake in a short period of time gives our department great hope for the future of community driven development."

The EIMAC CIO Network Meeting will be hosted by Cody Decker in Arkansas next month where state CIOs will have a chance to learn about this and other projects currently underway at the Arkansas Department of Education.
