Nevada Governor Appoints New Superintendent of Public Instruction

On August 26, 2013, Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval appointed Dale Erquiaga as the new State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Prior to taking office, Dale served Gov. Sandoval's senior advisor from 2010-2012 and also previously served as the executive director of government affairs at the Clark County School District.  Dale fills the vacancy left by Jim Guthrie's resignation in March 2013.
