National Assessment Governing Board to Host Webinar on NAEP Data

The webinar Lessons for All: Decades of NAEP Data from the Mega-States is a live webcast to release the results of a new the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) report drawing on nearly two decades of data. Mega-States: An Analysis of Student Performance in the Five Most Heavily Populated States in the Nation covers trends in student achievement in California, Florida, Illinois, New York, and Texas in mathematics, reading, and science at grades 4 and 8.
The study, from NAEP-also known as The Nation's Report Card- includes facts about these states' changing demographics, how those shifts are related to student achievement, and how the findings offer insights for educators nationwide.
