Montana Gets New High School Equivalency Exam
Associated Press (03/19/13)Montana education officials have contracted with Educational Testing Service (ETS) to create a new high school equivalency exam that will replace the General Education Development tests due to an increase in the test price to $120 from $55 by next year. The deal aims to give high school students access to an affordable, high-quality exam, says State Superintendent of Public Instruction Denise Juneau. ETS was chosen because of its ties to the Common Core State Standards initiative.
