Missouri Revising Standards for Early Childhood Education

Springfield News-Leader (Missouri) (05/05/13) Riley, Claudette

The learning standards will ensure activities and materials for young children provide meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences to build a foundation for learning. Among the other changes include the greater access to high-quality preschool programs to improve kindergarten readiness and an increase in federally funded school-based programs that serve low-income children and those with special needs.
