Delaware Becomes Seventh State to Adopt Common Science Standards

Delaware has become the seventh state to adopt the Next Generation Science Standards, following in the footsteps of California, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The state served as a lead state partner, along with 26 others, in developing the standards. A multiyear implementation plan will be crafted by the state education department, with input from educators.
