Data Quality Campaign to Host Webinar Series on Privacy and Data Use

The Data Quality Campaign (DQC) will host a three-part webinar series examining efforts to protect student privacy while using education data to improve achievement. DQC and a group of experts will provide valuable resources and tools to equip all education stakeholders with best practices for the safe and effective use of education data. The webinars will cover the following topics:

Part One: Education Data Privacy and Security: Communicating about Data and Dispelling Myths

Wednesday, October 2 at 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (EDT)

Part Two: Education Data Privacy and Security: Emerging Best Practices-State Policies and Resources
Tuesday, October 22 at 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (EDT)

Part Three: Education Data Privacy and Security: Emerging Best Practices-Federal Policies and Resources
Tuesday, November 12 at 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (EDT)

All three webinars are open to the public, and attendees are invited to join any or all three of the webinars.  Following the event, a recording of the webinar and presentation materials will be available on DQC's event page.
