ConnectHome Pilot Program Strives to Close Homework Gap

In an effort to tackle the "homework gap", the White House announced the launch of the ConnectHome pilot program that will provide in-home Internet access to 275,000 low-income families and nearly 200,000 children. The program spans twenty-seven cities and one tribal nation. ConnectHome relies heavily on partnerships among the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the private sector, and community organizations.
