College-Bound Get Remedial Help

Argus Leader (SD) (08/02/13) Wischmeyer, Beth

State Education Secretary Melody Schopp says, "[The program is] really focused on our department's aspiration of really helping to make sure kids are career-, college- and life-ready, and that we're just not graduating them, but preparing them for post-secondary education." The State Department of Education is covering the costs of the program in the upcoming school year, budgeting for 800 students.
