Center for Digital Government's 'Year in Data' Highlights Trends, CIO Priorities in 2014

The Center for Digital Government compiled the results of four of its surveys (Digital Cities, Digital Counties, Digital States, and Best of the Web) to create infographics highlighting the top government websites, trends, and CIO priority areas. Hawaii, Utah, Arkansas and D.C. all appear on the 'Best of Government website' lists and were recognized for their "innovative qualities, usefulness, and efficiency and economy". At the state and county level, CIOs identified cybersecurity as their top concern (shared services and cloud computing came in 2nd and 3rd for state CIOs). The top two trends for states were open data and mobile-enabled websites.
